You will report to the Director, Operational Technologies.What you’ll do:  <ul><li>Serve as a key technical resource for Nexamp’s 24/7 Operations Center (NOC), addressing telemetry, communication, alarming and field equipment issues.</li><li>Maintain SCADA databases and graphical displays, ensuring accuracy, usability, and alignment with real-time field operations.</li><li>Assist with commissioning and integration of new PV and BESS assets into the SCADA network, including communication setup, protocol configuration (i.e., Modbus, DNP3), and I/O mapping.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network communication, telemetry, and control system across both field and centralized infrastructure.</li><li>Provide hands-on support for Operational Technology equipment located in data centers - RTACs, routers and network switches used for SCADA and telemetry. </li><li>Maintain comprehensive documentation including technical specifications, network diagrams, and system configurations records.</li><li>Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours SCADA/OT support as needed.</li><li>Support data acquisition, analysis, and reporting, contributing to system monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization efforts.</li><li>Support the deployment, configuration, programming and maintenance of AVEVA and Ignition SCADA systems across Nexamp’s renewable energy portfolio, Including PV and BESS sites. </li><li>Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure reliable telemetry, data integrity, and remote control of field assets. </li></ul>What you’ll bring:<ul><li>High School diploma or GED equivalence</li><li>2 - 5 years of hands-on experience working with SCADA systems in energy, utilities, or industrial automation sectors. </li><li>Experience with HMI/SCADA platforms such as Ignition and AVIVA System Platforms. </li><li>Experience in managing Scada databases containing electrical components, such as maintaining Scada point lists and parameters, control mappings, etc.  </li><li>Skilled in configuring and troubleshooting SEL RTACs, reclosers, meters, and industrial control devices. </li><li>Good understanding of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, OPC/UA, and IEC 61850. </li><li>Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, including troubleshooting within OT/ICS environments. </li><li>Expertise in commissioning and resolving site technical issues, proven success in independently troubleshooting challenging SCADA related technical issues </li><li>Proficient with operational and analytical software tools, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and database platforms such as Microsoft Access or similar.  </li><li>Detail-oriented and disciplined, with a methodical approach to work execution and documentation. </li><li>Adaptable to change, capable of leading through operational growth and evolving procedures. </li><li>Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, real-time operations environment. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams. </li><li>Availability to work outside of regular hours, including participation in an on-call rotation as required. </li><li>Commitment to Nexamp's mission and have a passion for solving tomorrow's climate crisis today.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.   </li><li>Experience in showcasing initiative to make improvements to current work, processes, products, and services across the organization.
