This includes Evaporators, Crystallizers and related technologies. This pivotal role focuses on generating new business and building strong relationships within the chemical industry through a consultative sales approach. Responsibilities include lead generation, market intelligence gathering, and cross-functional coordination to meet customer needs. This position offers both local and remote work opportunities.<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Achieve capital equipment sales targets as set by the Director for the assigned territory and technologies.</li><li>Develop and sustain relationships with key buyers to uncover new opportunities.</li><li>Proactively pursue market penetration and drive new business growth.</li><li>Communicate customer requirements internally and coordinate with relevant departments.</li><li>Identify, qualify, and pursue leads through the full sales cycle.</li><li>Foster trust through expertise, integrity, and a professional, approachable demeanor.</li><li>Monitor and report on market trends, competitive activity, pricing, and project updates.</li><li>Respond promptly to inquiries and diligently follow up throughout the sales process.</li><li>Collaborate with process and mechanical engineers for technical support.</li><li>Deliver persuasive proposal presentations to customers.</li><li>Represent the company at trade shows and industry events as assigned.</li><li>Negotiate confidentiality agreements and terms &amp; conditions in partnership with management.</li><li>Issue order confirmations and participate in project handover meetings with internal stakeholders.</li><li>Provide regular updates on sales activities, proposal status, and forecasting.</li><li>Manage travel and entertainment expenses efficiently.</li><li>Contribute to team success by completing tasks as assigned by leadership.</li><li>Coordinate with the Service team to align technical solutions and pricing strategies.</li><li>Maintain and grow customer relationships while promoting GEA’s brand and capabilities.</li><li>Collaborate with GEA’s European Centers of Competence when required.</li></ul>Your Profile / QualificationsRequired Skills/Abilities: <ul><li>Four-year college degree in chemical or mechanical engineering (with strong chemical background), preferably with additional commercial education.
