Job Mission
Terraformation’s mission is to reverse climate change by restoring native forests around the world. We find technical solutions to the biggest bottlenecks facing native forest restoration and provide those solutions to partners and customers.
In this role, you will be providing technical solutions and support to all internal teams at Terraformation to help the company achieve its mission. Our goal as an Information Technology team is to improve or streamline processes using technology to help our employees work more effectively. With employees scattered across nearly all time zones, the technologies and processes we implement are paramount to our success.
Location:  Remote; PST to EST preferred

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming support requests regarding software, services, hardware or networking issues in a timely manner.
  • Manages and tracks ticketing system ensuring all employees are updated on support requests.
  • Documents processes, solutions or problems in a way that helps the Information Technology team scale solutions for the company. 
  • Notifies direct leadership regarding recurring issues or patterns of problems in the environment; tries to find solutions to systemic issues and presents their solutions to the team for implementation.
  •  Escalates issues to the appropriate team member when necessary.
  • Maintains confidentiality and privacy of employee and company sensitive data.
  • Performs assigned tasks in a timely manner with accuracy, efficiency and empathy.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High-school degree or equivalent required, or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge and expertise. 
  • At least 2 years experience providing IT support to an organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience providing technical support and solutions to customers.
  • Ability to think critically about problems and solve them independently. 
  • Knowledge of IT systemsExcellent time management skills

Preferred Qualifications (optional)

  • Experience managing IT systems including; Google Workspace, Microsoft Azure AD & Office 365, Cloud storage solutions (Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive), Single Sign On and Identity Management (Okta, OneLogin), and Email & Chat services administration.
  • Customer Service training or certification
