Your Mission As a Data Validation &amp; Analytics Intern at Predium, you will use your expertise in building physics and energy performance assessment to develop and implement a robust validation framework for evaluating Predium’s building envelope, system, and energy demand approximations against ground-truth data. You will identify discrepancies, generate actionable insights to refine predictive models, and ensure that validation outcomes are clearly documented and communicated to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your Responsibilities Ground-Truth Dataset Creation: Build a harmonized dataset that serves as the foundation for subsequent model evaluation.Metric Definition &amp; Pipeline Design: Define evaluation metrics and implement an automated evaluation pipeline.Statistical Analysis: Conduct large-scale analyses to detect systematic deviations and identify meaningful clusters for result segmentation (e.g., by building typology, region, or other data patterns).Model Optimization: Support the refinement of Predium’s approximation algorithms to improve accuracy and validate results on hold-out datasets.Documentation &amp; Communication: Create a final report, integrate findings into the Predium Academy, and prepare a stakeholder presentation at the end of the internship. Your Profile Education: Currently enrolled in a degree program in Civil / Environmental Engineering or a similar field. Technical Skills: Good understanding of building physics and energy performance assessment. Experience with Python and pandas; ideally familiar with statistical libraries like NumPy or SciPy. Working Style: Analytical, self-driven, and solution-oriented. You enjoy turning data into actionable insights. Availability: Available for a full-time internship for a duration of 3 months, joining us in our office in Munich.
