Job Description

Remora is hiring a member of the Supply Chain team who will support Remora’s entire supply chain, from the engineering team’s initial design to installation on a customer’s truck. This person will build relationships with manufacturers, manage inventory, and work to obtain crucial components on schedule, all while helping to tackle the defining challenge of our time.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with technical teams to coordinate manufacturing and assembly needs
  • Supporting manufacturing process requirements and taking responsibility for completeness and quality of the final product
  • Organize and maintain order in stocking and assembly locations
  • Managing the purchase order process to ensure timely delivery and stocking.
  • Ensure safety and ergonomics in warehousing and stocking operations
  • Identify and implement opportunities to reduce cost, increase production, and improve product quality
  • Document and execute supply chain processes and systems
  • Maintain and track device serial numbers with internal component specifications

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics or Supply Chain Management OR 2+ years of relevant work experience

Logistics

  • Location: Ann Arbor, MI - Detroit, MI
  • Start date: by April 15, 2022
