Founded in 2008 and led by its founder, Sol Systems is dedicated to shaping an energy future we can all believe in.The Manager, Marketing &amp; Communications’ responsibilities include, but are not limited to: <ul><li>Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communications strategies.</li><li>Manage third party vendors, including a PR and community engagement firm,</li><li>Lead the planning, design, and execution of email, web, and print marketing campaigns.</li><li>Produce and oversee the production of visually engaging materials, both print and electronic.</li><li>Produce high quality written materials for publications and stakeholder communications</li><li>Manage and guide the development of website and social media content, ensuring consistency and high-quality visuals.</li><li>Develop and distribute press releases, manage media relations content, and build media lists.</li><li>Create and manage marketing collateral, both digital and print.</li><li>Maintain the Digital Asset Management tool for use in collateral, media content, etc. and in coordination with external partners who benefit from the use of Sol’s digital assets.</li><li>Manage conferences and events planning, overseeing the coordination and management of conference attendee lists, including marketing materials and speaker requests.</li><li>Direct meeting coordination and production timeline development.</li><li>Undertake daily administrative tasks and support data management for the marketing &amp; communications team as well as other Sol teams.</li></ul>A successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:<ul><li>Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Public Relations, Writing, or related field.</li><li>A minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing communications, with graphic design a plus.</li><li>Experience at a marketing or public relations firm, leading clean energy client work a plus</li><li>Advanced editing, proofreading, layout/design skills.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and other graphic design tools.</li><li>Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with teams across departments.</li><li>Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.</li></ul>Location &amp; Hours: This is a full-time role and will be based in our Washington, DC, office.Commitment &amp; Compensation: Commitment &amp; Compensation: The base salary for this role is between $100,000 and $120,000 annually, depending on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the position.
