Our SDEs work in a fast-paced environment alongside data and research scientists to deliver innovative forecasting and optimization solutions for the energy industry. Engineers contribute to all phases of the software development life cycle and are encouraged to use the technical stack that best aligns with the problems they're solving. Recent projects have included AWS serverless, Grafana, TimescaleDB, Vue 3, and Python or Rust. We follow an onsite work schedule with teams collaborating in-person. Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Develop and deliver industry-leading technology solutions to complex energy challenges</li><li>Code in multiple languages, most recently Python and Vue.js</li><li>Conduct system testing and create unit tests for new and existing features</li><li>Write technical documentation for requirements and system architecture</li><li>Participate in agile ceremonies including requirements refinement, estimation, standups, and retrospectives</li><li>Collaborate on high-level software design and system architecture</li><li>Lead small project teams and mentor junior team members</li></ul> Required Qualifications <ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience</li><li>4+ years of software development experience</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications <ul><li>Experience in system design and software architecture</li><li>Strong communication skills with technical and product teams</li><li>1+ years of recent Python and/or Vue/Angular/React experience</li><li>Familiarity with cloud computing, primarily AWS</li><li>Exposure to CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code processes</li></ul>
