You'll work across all phases of the software development life cycle, developing solutions that help validate research into viable products. This role requires leading small project teams, mentoring junior engineers, and communicating effectively with leadership while working in a fast-paced environment alongside data scientists and research teams. Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Lead software system architecture and design from concept to implementation</li><li>Code in multiple languages, most recently Python and Vue.js</li><li>Lead proof-of-concept implementations to demonstrate viability for new product ideas</li><li>Conduct system testing and create unit tests for new and existing features</li><li>Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate with product teams on requirements refinement</li><li>Mentor junior engineers and lead small engineering teams</li><li>Communicate project status, technical decisions, and system designs to varying organizational levels</li><li>Provide technical advice and participate in higher-level architecture decisions</li></ul> Required Qualifications <ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience</li><li>9+ years of software development experience</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications <ul><li>Experience leading small engineering teams and software architecture projects</li><li>Strong communication skills with technical and product stakeholders</li><li>Ability to accurately estimate work scope and identify project blockers</li><li>1+ years of recent Python and/or Vue/Angular/React experience</li><li>Strong understanding of AWS cloud computing</li><li>Expertise in CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code processes</li></ul> This is a full-time, onsite position based in St. Paul, MN.
