You will be based in the our San Jose office, reporting into the Director of IT.Primary Responsibilities<ul><li>Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions to support business operations and R&amp;D activities.</li><li>Provide high-level support and leadership in managing Microsoft Azure, Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), and Intune environments.</li><li>Collaborate with Systems Engineering to assess infrastructure needs and translate them into technical solutions</li><li>Identify inefficiencies and propose solutions that enhance productivity and security across teams.</li><li>Prototype and deploy tools and workflows to refine support operations.</li><li>Be the Tier 3 escalation support for complex IT support issues that require deep troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.</li><li>Partner with Support Team members to mentor and up skill on high-impact issue resolution.</li><li>Configure and support LAN/WAN networks and ensure high availability and performance.</li><li>Manage hardware in corporate offices, lab, and data center environments, including servers, storage, and switches.</li><li>Maintain system security configurations and endpoint compliance using modern management platforms.</li><li>Participate in audits, documentation, and process improvements aligned with company policies</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in IT systems administration, systems engineering, or similar roles</li><li>Knowledge in Microsoft Azure, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Microsoft Intune</li><li>Experience with LAN/WAN technologies and enterprise network architecture</li><li>Windows and macOS systems in hybrid environments</li><li>Experience supporting on-premises infrastructure (e.g., servers, switches, data center hardware)</li><li>Strong scripting or automation experience (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash)</li><li>Familiarity with modern identity and access management best practices.</li><li>Background working in startups or fast-growing technology companies.</li><li>Exposure to IT security frameworks and compliance requirements (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001)</li></ul>#LI-ONSITECompensation and Benefits | P4<div><div><div>San Carlos Zone</div><div>$146,000—$172,000 USD</div></div></div><div>Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.​Base salary is just one part of Electric Hydrogen’s total rewards package.
