This role will be hybrid, based out of our Boston office, and you will report to the Tech Lead.  What you’ll do:  <ul><li>Deliver value: Internalize our OKRs and orient your work around measurable results. </li><li>Write code: Design, implement, and deploy reliable and efficient production software in React and Python. </li><li>Stay agile:  Be active in our sprint planning, execution, and reflection Scrum processes. </li><li>Grow others: Guide junior developers across the org through mentorship and collaborative creativity. </li><li>Grow yourself: Continually seek ways to up-level your own skills; inspire and cross-train your colleagues.</li></ul>What you’ll bring:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.</li><li>5+ years of professional software development experience at companies with 10 or more developers (consumer-facing environments a plus). </li><li>Experience developing web-based solutions using Python 3 and one or more web development frameworks (Django, FastAPI, Flask, etc.)</li><li>Experience building consumer-facing frontend applications in React and Typescript is a plus.</li><li>Deep understanding of web standards (CSS, HTML, JS), infrastructure (databases, storage, caching, content delivery), and cloud hosting offerings.</li><li>Strong debugging skills and experience with other web technologies and languages is helpful (Javascript, SQL, etc.)</li><li>Ability to work in person 3 days per week from our Boston, MA office. </li><li>Commitment to Nexamp's mission and have a passion for solving tomorrow's climate crisis today.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.</li><li>Experience in showcasing initiative to make improvements to current work, processes, products, and services across the organization.
