As a member of the team, you'll build and refine tools for both our residential customers and the internal teams that operate our business. This role will be hybrid, based out of our Boston office, and you will report to your squad’s Tech Lead.  What you’ll do:  <ul><li>Deliver value: Internalize our objectives and deliver measurable change for Nexamp and our customers.</li><li>Write code: Design, implement, and deploy reliable and efficient production software in our React/Django/Azure stack.  </li><li>Elevate your squad: Actively participate in sprint planning, execution, code reviews, demos, and retrospectives.</li><li>Grow others: Guide and inspire junior developers across the org through mentorship and collaboration.  </li><li>Grow yourself: Continually seek ways to level-up your own skills and make a bigger impact throughout the company.  </li></ul>What you’ll bring:<ul><li>5+ years of professional software development experience at companies with 10 or more developers (consumer-facing experience is a plus).</li><li>Experience developing and maintaining web-based solutions in modern Python, ideally using Django, FastAPI, or similar frameworks.</li><li>Experience building consumer-facing frontend applications in React and Typescript.</li><li>Robust understanding of web standards, infrastructure (databases, storage, caching, content delivery, etc.), and cloud platform offerings.</li><li>Strong debugging skills and a track record of independently solving problems.</li><li>Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.</li><li>Familiarity with version control systems like Git, CI/CD pipelines for automated testing &amp; deployment, and infrastructure tools like Terraform. </li><li>Ability to work in person 3 days per week from our Boston, MA office.  </li><li>Commitment to Nexamp's mission and have a passion for solving tomorrow's climate crisis today.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.   </li><li>Experience in showcasing initiative to make improvements to current work, processes, products, and services across the organization.
