We enable homeowners to confidently make the switch to modern, electric technologies and get their homes off of fossil fuels – all at once, or over time.</p></div><h3>About The Role</h3><p><strong>What you would be doing: </strong>Reporting to our co-founder, DR, the GM is charged with building a profitable business, cultivating partnerships, and creating exceptional experiences for customers and trade partners in the Boston market.</p><p>This role combines elements of builder, operator, and dealmaker, and requires a seasoned operations leader with experience scaling early-stage businesses. You will ensure that all operational processes are efficient and that projects are delivered on time, in scope, and on budget. Accountable for the profitability of the market, you'll manage teams responsible for sales and delivery, while leveraging corporate support for other functions such as marketing, supply chain, trade partner management, and customer success. You’ll need to be hands-on identifying and developing key opportunities, closing strategic partnerships, and working to scale the business and team with a focus on margin, efficiency, and trust.</p><p>While this role is accountable for market profitability, it does not have full P&amp;L ownership. You'll be expected to bring deals across the finish line.</li><li><strong>Process Optimization:</strong> Identify friction in tools, handoffs, or workflows and partner with central ops to improve them.</li><li><strong>Team Coaching:</strong> Set expectations, give feedback, and address performance.
