Provide timely, detailed and accurate reports on failure analysis, product performance, and warranty including estimated expense and time</li><li>Collaborate with other teams to ensure aftermarket readiness for new product launches and launches of key product changes</li><li>Develop and maintain strong working relationships between company and dealer/customers and demonstrate an awareness of customer needs, preferences, time and financial constraints</li><li>Ensure adequate materials and parts planning to address field service issues as they arise</li><li>Under close supervision, perform basic engineering calculations, investigations, and tasks as assigned, as well as general industry engineering standards and processes.</li><li>Collaborate as needed with other engineering or business support disciplines internally as well as suppliers externally.</li><li>Maintain effective communication with suppliers, internal and external customers, and outside resources concerning technical issues.</li><li>Enforce the proper use of engineering criteria and drawing standards. Ensure that technical issues are conducted within the framework of company policies and procedures.</li><li>Evaluate designs for performance, safety, and reliability.</li><li>Perform and Directs preparation of layouts, drawings, specifications, and bills of material.</li><li>Perform engineering analysis to support the selection of parts, components, and materials that meet requirements.</li><li>Provide non-complex technical assistance for production support.</li><li>Analyze and resolve issues reported to Engineering via verbal or written communication.</li><li>Prepare technical proposals, quotations, reports, and presentations.</li><li>Utilize analytical and mathematical approaches to calculate or model system performance and optimize designs.</li><li>Analyze and resolve issues reported to Engineering and communicate status via verbal or written communication.</li></ul>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  <ul><li>Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field along with Internship experience or six (6) or more months of related work experience.</li></ul>STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS: <ul><li>Accredited Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.</li><li>Electrical knowledge of automotive or heavy-vehicle equipment and related systems.</li><li>Experience in vehicle service industry</li><li>Experience with 3-D CAD Systems (SolidWorks Preferred)</li><li>Hydraulic systems design and service experience</li><li>Experience with the use of data acquisition systems</li><li>Excellent people (relationship-building) skills</li><li>Organized, professional and possess a high level of integrity</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal cross-functional teams</li></ul>WORKING CONDITIONS: <div>The following represents general working conditions for this role.
