In this position you will partner with business leaders and within the People Team to influence people strategy, implement new and recurring people programs, and coach leaders to success.  

You will be a part of the People Team, assigned to permanently partner day-to-day with several of our program teams. Our organization of committed, thoughtful change leaders is growing fast, and this role will have the unique opportunity to create impact.  

This is a high-visibility role reporting into our Senior Director of Talent and working directly with Managing Directors across a portfolio of teams. The role is initially scoped as an individual contributor with strong opportunity for growth as we scale. 

Responsibilities 

  • Partner with a portfolio of program leaders on people strategy, performance management, organizational design, change management, and employee engagement 
  • Work with the People Team and leaders to proactively identify organizational needs, and develop and drive needed change initiatives to support broader talent strategy 
  • Facilitate compensation and performance reviews, engagement survey response, and other people-related processes within your portfolio of programs  
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion, developing coherent and impactful programming, metrics, and solutions in close partnership with other People leaders  
  • Serve as a coach to program leaders to achieve team growth and success 
  • Support day-to-day HR processes within your program portfolio, including employee onboarding and off boarding, employee relations, and manager coaching and support  

Qualifications 

  • Progressive Human Resources/People Operations experience with time working as a people partner (HRBP) or equivalent 
  • Experience supporting international operations, with employees located globally 
  • Experience working in a high growth organization 
  • Experience with organizational design and effectiveness, change management, performance management, total rewards and compliance 
  • Solid understanding of HR practices, policies, and employment law 
  • Data-driven problem solver who can find root causes and build leadership support to address them 
  • Strong interpersonal awareness, collaboration and coaching skills 
  • Skilled navigator of differences to build inclusive environments and teams 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and build relationships at all levels  
  • Experience of making decisions in ambiguous, fast-moving, and collaborative environments 
  • Experience with energy/climate-change or mission-driven organizations is a plus 

Location 

Our team is globally distributed, and these roles will support both U.S. and international teams. We are open to candidates worldwide; this role will require availability during regular US business hours.

Compensation 

RMI compensates based on the level and requirements of the role. Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. Typically, new Senior HR Business Partners based in the U.S. join at the minimum to mid-salary range of $91,000- $103,000. You would also have an additional 10% bonus target!
