Working in partnership with all our established offices globally, the Ramboll Engineering Centre (REC) is a centre for excellence in design by offering optimized solutions to the rest of the organization.Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:<ul><li>Carrying out the design for underground structures based on Eurocodes and review the work of CAD technicians in the team and maintaining quality of deliverables,</li><li>To thrive in this role, you must have a background in Structural/ Underground structures, with a strong track record in underground structures design, and have a passion for delivering innovative, sustainable and high-quality design solutions.</li><li>Overseeing and troubleshooting the work of assistant engineers, carrying out the design calculations, guide CAD technicians in preparation of the 3D models and drawings.</li><li>coordination with the global design team for project planning/preparation of schedule/WBS and delivering projects to time and budget,</li><li>should take initiatives to develop design ability of the Assistant Engineers and improve the quality of delivery of the team as whole,</li></ul>Your starting point for constant growthFrom the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. Tech in Civil Engineering &amp; ME/M.Tech/ MSc degree in Structural/ Underground structures from an institute of repute.</li><li>Should have 3- 8 years of experience in detailed design of tunnels and underground structures, preferably with Eurocodes or any other international standards.</li><li>Temporary enabling/ Ground Retaining Structures/and Permanent works for underground structures like stations/ shafts, Cut &amp; cover structures, ramps etc., (all geo-structural aspects) utilizing diaphragm wall, Secant piles, sheet piles, soldier piles non-contiguous piles etc. ​</li><li>Experience within ground retaining systems (sheet pile, secant pile, etc.) as well as other underground/ on-ground structures such as tunnels, foundations, pumping stations, water reservoirs, etc. and structures under hydrostatic pressure).</li><li>Experience in European projects/ European/international consultants would be beneficial.</li><li>Have hands on experience in Finite Element analysis and design software skills, preferably Plaxis 2D, Plaxis 3D, RS2, LUSAS or Sofistik / WALLAP for ground- Structural Interaction Analysis Modelling and Validation.</li><li>Should be a good team member and should coordinate with other team members and the project manager for timely delivery of project</li><li>Professional English language skills (written and verbal).</li><li>Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include good communication skills (verbal &amp; written)</li><li>Proficiency in Knowledge of VBA/ Python scripting/Automation will be an added advantage.</li></ul>Welcome to our Transport divisionRamboll is a global transportation consultancy and we work on some of the biggest and most innovative infrastructure projects in the world.
