IT Project Manager

Position: IT Project Manager, (Remote) or willing to travel, United States

We are looking for IT Project Manager, who will manage IT projects for business systems primarily and IT operations projects based on the need.  This role will be working directly with finance, sales, supply chain and other business partners. This role has a great opportunity to own and deliver high visible business systems projects which are critical for growth projections for the company.

Responsibilities: 

• Drive IT project lifecycle to end goal for both small internal IT projects to large, interdepartmental, multi-faceted long-term projects.
• Will manage a combination of 3 to 5 projects at any given time.
• Develop project plans which identify key issues, problems, resource requirements and performance metrics.
• Partner with sales, finance, supply chain & other key business stakeholder teams for requirement gathering.
• Documenting business requirements and proposals.
• Manage IT vendor portfolio and contract negotiations.
• Improve process to drive visibility into key deliverables, project milestones and overall project status.
• Ensure all project deliverables are completed and communicate appropriately by topic and for respective audiences.
• Plan and facilitate project prioritization meetings.
• Assist with building out robust/repeatable project management processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 5 - 7 years of experience with IT business systems implementations as a Project manager
• Drive requirement gathering sessions with business stakeholders such as Sales, Finance, supply chain and translate to Business Requirements Document
• Experience on technical project teams, technical project management, including new system implementations.
• Strong process orientation; solid understanding of project management techniques, methodologies and best practices.
• Demonstrated organizational, planning and analytical skills, including project scheduling, estimating, risk identification, and change management.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical and business issues and solutions across multiple organizational levels.
• Strong influencing and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficient in PM tools such as Asana, Microsoft Project etc.
• Experienced and comfortable working in a fast paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.
