AECOM's Enterprise Capabilities is seeking a highly skilled Structural BIM Technician to join our Structural Enginering Team team in Bogotá D.C. This role is essential to supporting the development and delivery of structural design documentation from our enterprise design center in Colombia. The successful candidate will contribute to a variety of transportation-related projects including buildings, bridges ans civil works on the preparation of structural drawings and 3D models using software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Microstation. This role covers all stages of project development, starting with conceptual and preliminary design and continuing through detailed engineering and construction deliverables.<ul></ul><ul></ul>The responsibilities include but are not limited to:<ul><li>Creation and editing of 3D BIM models using software such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Microstation.</li><li>Development of construction drawings and quantity take-offs directly from digital models.</li><li>Support in the coordination of technical disciplines (architecture, structural, and MEP).</li><li>Basic clash detection using tools like Navisworks.</li><li>Maintenance and updating of models based on construction progress or design changes ("as-built" -models).</li><li>Participation in technical reviews and project coordination meetings.</li><li>Compliance with standards and procedures established by the technical team.</li><li>Support in the preparation of technical deliverables and BIM documentation.</li><li>Works under general supervision performing advanced technical work utilizing a wide variety of resources, including computers.  </li><li>May be responsible for all or part of a project.  </li><li>May train and supervise work flow.</li></ul>
