Job InfoPOSITION - Union: Gas Field PlannerNUMBER OF POSITIONS: 1LOCATION: NY - Vestal - Binghamton Service CtrHOURLY RATE: $41.94 - $57.54Duties:<ul><li>Under directive supervision performs gas field planning work required for the construction, maintenance, retirement, or renewal of gas transmission and distribution systems, regulating and/or measuring stations and general plant; prepares necessary sketches and drawings, estimates and CMS notes.</li><li>May assist in design of complex regulator stations.</li><li>Operates surveying and office equipment associated with this work.</li><li>May perform load and pressure drop studies and assembles data for network analysis.</li><li>May locate underground facilities using electronic equipment.</li><li>May act as inspector of contractor work after sufficient training.
