If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.</div></div><p><strong>Position Overview:</strong></p><p>The Sr. Manager – Material Planning is a critical function in Lucid responsible for coordinating with PPC, Manufacturing, Sales, transportation, Procurement and send out production/ delivery schedules (daily/weekly/monthly/half yearly/ annually) to all the supplier base across world to ensure timely follow-up, using SAP ERP system with the supplier base and bring the right part at right time in right quantity and in right place at Lucid production locations. This manager will extensively leverage his knowledge with shipping lines/ road and multi-modal transporters to achieve zero production losses with least freight cost. The ideal candidate brings strategic thought process, digital transformation, strong team builder and motivator with excellent communication capabilities both above and below his grade</p><p> </p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li> Lead the transportation function for all CBU (Import /Export/ Domestic distribution)</li><li> Develop and execute transportation strategies that reduce costs, improve service levels, and support business growth.</li><li> Manage a team of transportation managers, analysts, and logistics coordinators.</li><li> Select, negotiate, and manage carrier contracts and 3PL partnerships.</li><li> Oversee freight audit and payment processes to ensure accuracy and cost control. </li><li> Monitor and report transportation KPIs (on-time delivery, freight spend, transit time, etc.) and drive performance improvements.</li><li> Collaborate with procurement, distribution, customer service, and manufacturing to align transportation plans with operational goals.</li><li> Ensure full compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and international trade/shipping regulations.</li><li> Evaluate and implement transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics technologies for planning and visibility.</li><li> Lead continuous improvement projects focused on lead time reduction, network optimization, and customer delivery performance.</li><li> Support sustainability goals through efficient routing, load consolidation, and emissions reduction initiatives.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>People communication regarding material availability·</p></li><li><p>Work with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions · Liaise with stakeholders on product change requests and review and communicate the impact on material planning and schedules·</p></li><li><p>Support new business initiatives and projects and contribute to review meetings and change processes.</p></li><li><p>Ensure effective material planning implementation takes place relating to the changes.</p></li><li><p>Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and ensure demand for materials is met and deliveries made on time · Design, develop and implement processes and work with suppliers on continuous improvement initiatives·</p></li><li><p>Contribute to the assessment and sourcing of suppliers knowledge of transportation regulations, modes, and cost drivers. </li><li>Proven ability to manage freight spending and drive carrier performance. </li><li>Proficient in outbound TMS platforms. </li><li>Data-driven with strong analytical, financial, and decision-making abilities.</li><li>Excellent communication, contract negotiation, and vendor management skills.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.</li><li>Master’s degree or MBA preferred.</li><li>15+ years of progressive experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain operations.</li><li>At least 5 years in a managerial or senior
