Your mission We are looking for you to join our Sungrow team as our new Energy Storage System technical solution Intern/Working student!   What does a solution engineer do, you might ask? Well, this role is allowed to do the best part of our everyday work – to still the hunger for sustainable energy!    In a little more detail, this is what you will do in your day to day job: <ul><li>Managing and performing high quality technical advisory works for the pre-sale’s BESS activities</li><li>Project manager and interfacing between engineering disciplines (ESS electric, mechanical, civil and control scheme)</li><li>Provide technical input from initial assessment through to technical and economic feasibility of the project and integration with other electrical or generating plants as necessary</li><li>Review overall project conceptual design, detailed design, and design and suggest technical and design improvement for ESS projects</li><li>Preparation and management of specifications, tendering, negotiation, and selection of battery storage system plant</li></ul> Your profile All right, all right, so I hope you are now aware of what is up for you, what background should you have in order to feel comfortable with this role?  Keep in mind it`s all about electrical equipment, that`s why it is essential for you to have: <ul><li>Solid background in power electronics and battery technologies.</li><li>Familiarity with renewable energy utility grid connection standards, power quality studies, and PCS dynamic performance approval processes.</li><li>Working knowledge of PSCAD and DIgSILENT PowerFactory software.</li></ul>
