You'll drive analytics-based talent strategies, own performance management processes, and spearhead organizational development efforts that enable our team members to thrive while supporting our mission of transforming transportation through electric aviation. </p><p> </p><p>This is a hybrid role that requires three days onsite.</p><h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul> <li><strong>Performance Management:</strong> Lead end-to-end execution of annual performance and talent review cycles, including project management, systems configuration, communications, and training materials.</li> <li><strong>Promotions and Career Growth:</strong> Partner in the promotion review process, analyzing submissions for consistency, equity, and job architecture alignment.</li> <li><strong>Employee Engagement:</strong> Manage company-wide engagement and pulse surveys, partnering with stakeholders on design, launch, reporting, and action planning to enhance team member experience.</li> <li><strong>Internal Mobility:</strong> Design and implement programs facilitating internal mobility and career development, including career pathing tools, development programs, and job architecture improvements.</li> <li><strong>Learning &amp; Development Support:</strong> Contribute to L&amp;D initiatives through content creation, workshop facilitation on feedback and goal setting, and program evaluation.</li> <li><strong>Systems Administration:</strong> Serve as primary administrator and SME for talent management platform, managing configuration, troubleshooting, data integrity, and user adoption. </li> <li><strong>Project &amp; Initiative Ownership: </strong>Lead high-impact Talent Management initiatives from strategy and scoping, through implementation and outcome measurement.</li></ul><h2>Required</h2><ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in I-O Psychology, HR, Business Administration, or related field</li> <li>5+ years progressive experience in Talent Management, L&amp;D, People Analytics, or related HR function</li> <li>Hands-on experience managing full-cycle company-wide performance reviews in fast-paced environments</li> <li>Proven experience with employee engagement surveys, including reporting and action support. </li> <li>Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with data-driven decision making focus</li> <li>Proficiency with HRIS and talent management systems; quick learner on new platforms</li> <li>Exceptional communication skills and relationship-building abilities across all organizational levels</li></ul><h2>Desired</h2><ul> <li>Master’s degree in relevant discipline</li> <li>High-growth technology, engineering, or manufacturing experience</li> <li>Proficiency in data analysis/visualization tools (Excel, Google Sheets, PowerBI)</li> <li>Training facilitation experience</li> <li>Career architecture, competency modeling, or succession planning familiarity</li> <li>Change management understanding</li></ul><h2>Additional Information</h2><p>Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $110,400-$147,200/yr.
