ABOUT THE POSITION

Generate is seeking an Intern on for its Project Finance team to support live transactions and financing processes in the clean energy and resource efficiency space. The mission of this role is to develop a greater understanding of structuring, financing, and deal making in infrastructure investment programs in sustainable power, transport, waste, and water.

 

We are looking for a highly analytical and hard-working individual looking to hone their finance experience and who is excited by the opportunity to work closely with the firm’s Project Finance team on the evaluation, structuring and execution of transactions. What you will be doing at Generate Capital as the Project Finance Intern

  • Work as part of Generate’s Capital Markets team
  • Contribute to deal teams on project level financings, supporting on aspects of deal structuring and execution and bringing transactions to a successful closing
  • Gain exposure to project finance debt and tax equity structures that allow the company to finance assets and portfolios
  • Develop expertise working with Excel models; including a structured training module
  • Support preparation of materials for capital management decisions and reporting
  • Take a deep dive in an area of interest which will culminate in a capstone project
