Are you ready to change the world with us?</p></div><p>ABOUT THE ROLE</p><p>The Real Estate Counsel will partner collaboratively with the Legal and leadership teams, to provide legal support to the business. You will be primarily responsible for reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and administering real estate contracts. Additionally, you will also provide practical guidance to business teams on various business agreements.<em> Seniority depends on skills and experience, and determined through the interview process.   </em></p><p>WHAT YOU'LL DO</p><ul><li>Responsible for transactional matters associated with renewable energy projects, including real estate, membership interest purchase and sale agreements, and/or asset purchase agreements.</li><li>Collaborate with, and advise, internal development team, coordinate contractual terms and conditions, and ensure all necessary contractual requirements are established.</li><li>Coordinate and negotiate with attorneys, agency representatives, consultants, and suppliers to develop, negotiate, and finalize contracts and agreements.</li><li>Collaborate with colleagues, outside parties, and governmental agencies to obtain project documentation and/or coordinate issue resolution.</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments within the organization.</li><li>Maintain organizational excellence in terms of project timelines and deliverables.</li><li>Demonstrates the Clēnera Core Values of Caring, Committed, and Courageous.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS</p><ul><li>Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree</li><li>Experience:<ul><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in a major law firm or renewable energy firm.</li><li>Experience drafting, negotiating, and reviewing complex real estate contracts.</li></ul></li><li>Licensure/Certification: Active bar license</li><li>Technology: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and an ability to learn company-specific software programs, tools, processes, and machines.</li><li>Skills/Attributes:<ul><li>Working knowledge of real estate, tax equity finance, M&amp;A, and/or other financial transactions.</li><li>Self-motivated attorney focused on solving complex problems for defined business groups.</li><li>Excellent client relationship skills.</li><li>Effective verbal and written communication skills, including proven experience in negotiations.</li><li>Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.</li></ul></li></ul><div><p><em>At Clēnera, LLC, we’re an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
