The Mission As a Working Student in OroraTech’s Level‑1 (L1) product team, you will play a key role in ensuring the scientific validity and operational reliability of our thermal infrared satellite data. Your primary focus will be the detection and characterization of anomalies—such as dead pixels, artifacts, and other outliers—in Level‑1 radiance products, to ensure they are of the highest quality for downstream applications.You will develop and refine algorithms, apply image processing techniques, and collaborate closely with the NRT AF (Active Fire) team and other internal stakeholders to maintain robust data quality standards. Your work will directly contribute to the reliability of mission‑critical products used by global wildfire management agencies, commercial partners, and scientific institutions.
