THE ROLE

During Q3 this year we are looking to recruit an additional market launcher for our team. This is an opportunity to snag a rockstar role where you will get unparalleled exposure across the breadth of the company, for someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves, take ownership and make a big impact. You could be launching a new city, a new customer segment or a new product. No one else across the business will have as much cross functional view to as many different business functions as you. Think of this as a crash course in startup life.

Germany is one of our most important markets in Europe (and the world!), it’s the birthplace of instant grocery. We need someone just as important to make our operation swift and successful.

What you’ll do:

  • Be the launch owner for new market expansion, responsible for rapidly scaling our business
  • Drive the execution of all market launch tasks to hit launch timelines, working cross-functionally with internal teams and external parties
  • Secure all regulatory, permitting, and license approvals to operate in the market
  • Lead the setup of all functions for launch including Hiring, Legal, Commercial, and Operations
  • Operate with strong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to clearly and consistently escalate issues, roadblocks with impacts to timelines and projects
  • Get your hands dirty and roll up your sleeves to do whatever it takes to achieve company, team and personal goals.

Requirements

  • 1-4+ years of experience. Different launches come with different complexities and responsibilities. You might have a year of direct launch experience or multiple years working in a fast-paced environment (entrepreneurship, startup, logistics, micro-mobility, consulting or other professional services). We want to know about you and what you can bring.
  • Entrepreneur mindset and eagerness to solve problems
  • Flexibility to travel and to spend significant time in your launch city, otherwise we don't mind where in Germany you're based.
  • Problem solving is your passion - you love thinking about complex issues and executing against creative solutions
  • Personal and professional growth is one of your top objectives. You are ready to do what it takes and 10x not only the business, but yourself with the help of a supportive team
  • Data and analytics. You are data-driven and comfortable navigating sheets, pivot tables, and creating forecasts. Numbers are music to your ears
  • Clear communicator. You are comfortable working with diverse teams and always take care to make sure that you both understand and are understood

  • Language ability. Native or fluent in local market language and professional/ business English
