The Interconnection Manager will drive interconnection progress in alignment with Dynamic’s business objectives across multiple markets, leveraging their strong understanding of tariffs and relationships with utility staff while minimizing interconnection costs and delays. The position is an opportunity to join a fast-paced, highly experienced team as it seeks growth in new markets throughout the United States. This position is a rare opportunity to join an outstanding company in a critical role that will be fundamental to its next level of growth. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES <ul> <li>Management of utility interconnection processes for Front-of-the-Meter and Behind-the-Meter DG projects from interconnection application to operation</li> <li>Evaluation of interconnection risk for new opportunities as well as later-stage projects, including interpretation of public utility queue data to inform application submission strategy</li> <li>Expertise in utility tariffs, system design, and utility technical standards</li> <li>Ownership of utility relationships and monitoring of utility performance to tariff deadlines</li> <li>Supervision of interconnection schedule and payments, including periodic updates and summaries of all active projects to management</li> <li>Skilled interpretation of technical interconnection studies and ability to distill and communicate critical insights to all stakeholders</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2>QUALIFICATIONSRequired Work Experience <ul> <li>3-5 years’ experience in utility interconnection</li></ul>Education<ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree </li> <li>Master’s degree in business or policy is preferred</li></ul>Additional Requirements<ul> <li>Strong interpersonal skills; existing relationships with electric utility staff are a plus</li> <li>Track record of negotiations with utility staff that have improved interconnection outcomes</li> <li>Forward-thinking and undaunted by challenges of new market entry; has the drive and creativity to establish successful queue positions despite conflicting rules or gaps in policy</li> <li>Broad knowledge of distributed generation interconnection challenges and opportunities—past, present, and future</li> <li>Has the motivation and focus to distill key information from utility interconnection tariffs</li> <li>Strong technical understanding of solar and battery storage facility design and system components</li> <li>Demonstrated team player with success collaborating with internal and external stakeholders</li> <li>Skilled at time management and prioritization</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li></ul>Travel This position may be remotely based with periodic travel to the Philadelphia, PA headquarters  The expected starting pay range for this role is $78,000 - $112,000 USD. This range is an estimate and base pay may be above or below the ranges based on several factors including but not limited to location, work experience, certifications, and education. In addition to base pay, Dynamic’s compensation program includes a bonus structure for full-time employees of all levels.
