<h3>About the Job</h3><p>We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Battery Cell Technician to support the development, testing, and manufacturing of battery cells. The ideal candidate will work hands-on with battery materials, assembly processes, and testing to ensure product quality and performance. This role is critical for Anthro to deliver on our internal technical milestones and external customer projects.</p><p></p><h3>What you will do</h3><ul> <li>Build and test battery cells following standard operating procedures (SOPs). </li> <li>Conduct performance evaluations, including capacity, cycle life, and thermal tests. </li> <li>Handle battery materials, cells, and electrolytes while maintaining safety protocols. </li> <li>Safely operate lab equipment such as cell testers, cyclers, and environmental chambers. </li> <li>Collect and document test data, generating reports for engineering and R&amp;D teams. </li> <li>Work closely with engineers and scientists to optimize battery performance and manufacturing processes. </li> <li>Follow safety guidelines for handling lithium-ion and other battery chemistries. </li> <li>Maintain lab cleanliness and ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials. </li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>Education: HS Diploma or GED </li> <li>Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a laboratory setting. Relevant technical experience may be considered in place of direct battery experience. </li> <li>Technical Skills: </li> <ul> <li>Hands-on experience measuring and handling chemicals in small, precise quantities </li> <li>Familiarity with assembling fixtures and running tests on analytical equipment </li> </ul> <li>Soft Skills: </li> <ul> <li>Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. </li> <li>Ability to work in a team and follow technical instructions. </li> <li>Good written and verbal communication skills for reporting and documentation. </li> </ul> <li>Other Requirements: </li> <ul> <li>May occasionally be required to lift objects up to 30 lbs. and work with chemicals following written safety protocols. </li> <li>Ability to lift, squat, kneel, use step ladders, manipulate hand, and power tools. </li> </ul> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive salary and equity compensation commensurate with experience.
