Senior Technical Manager, GHG Consulting (Remote)

Job Overview

The Senior Technical Manager establishes and leads the design and delivery of project technical requirements in order to provide quality deliverables to clients on time and within budget. Responsible for managing moderately complex projects and overseeing other technical team members and independent consultants to ensure project delivery on time and within budget.

Relevant Services:

• Materiality assessments
• GHG inventories, goals, reduction strategies
• Sustainability reporting
• Protocols and brand standards development
• Others, as determined

Roles and Responsibilities:

Division Financial Management

• Establish and meet quality technical scopes of work on time and within budget

Manage Client Relationships

• Serve as key client contact on technical aspects of projects
• Ensure quality delivery and client satisfaction

Oversee Technical Operations

• Complete technical project work including developing GHG inventories, climate action strategies
• Oversee, train, and collaborate with other key technical staff

Program Quality and Development

• Develop meaningful and efficient project scopes of work
• Ensure quality deliverables to clients are completed on time and within budget

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, supply chain management, or a related field
• A minimum of 4 years of experience working on and delivering sustainability projects to clients
• Complete fluency in English and work experience that involves professional written communication
• Strong organization and prioritization skills
• Proficient with business software including Outlook, Word, Excel and database management
• Strong customer service
• Aptitude to work cross-collaborative with SCS team members and other partners
• Initiative, good judgment, and ability to work independently under pressure in a changing environment
• Must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire to be considered, unless precluded by local and national jurisdiction. Pursuant to local and national law--proof of vaccination required. Medical and religious accommodations will also be considered.

Preferred qualifications

• Master’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or relevant field.
