AECOM's Natural Resouces team is seeking a Mid-level Biologist (Biologist III) to join our growing team.  This role will support some of California's most exciting and important projects. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our group of more than 100 environmental professionals in Northern California.This hybrid position will join our team based in our Sacramento, CA office. Candidates must be located in or around the Sacramento area due to project and field work assignments.This opportunity will support a variety of projects and clients in northern California, with a focus on technical writing and analysis, field assessments and surveys, and construction monitoring.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Preparation of reports documenting survey or monitoring results.</li><li>Preparation of other technical documents or permit applications.</li><li>Preparation of environmental compliance documents (CEQA/NEPA).</li><li>Independent report writing capabilities. </li><li>Surveys for special-status wildlife and nesting birds.</li><li>Surveys for special-status plants and vegetation mapping.</li><li>Wetland delineation.</li><li>Monitoring of construction activities for compliance with environmental requirements and/or permits.</li><li>Participation as an active and positive member of AECOM’s Environmental Planning &amp; Permitting practice.</li><li>Occasional travel in Central and Northern California may be required.</li></ul>About AECOM’s Environment Business LineJoin AECOM to be part of an expert global team who is connected through a well-developed, worldwide, internal technical practice network through which you can learn from and brainstorm with the best in the world.
