This role requires a deep understanding of meteorological processes, operational forecasting techniques, and data analysis methods. The Operational Meteorologist will work closely with field operations and research teams to deliver accurate forecasts and optimize seeding effectiveness. </span></div><br><br><h3>What You'll Do</h3><ul><li><b>Operational Forecasting:</b> Conduct daily operational weather forecasting for glaciogenic cloud seeding operations during winter months, and provide real-time convective cloud seeding forecasts during summer seasons. Develop and maintain forecasting workflows utilizing numerical weather prediction models, observational data, and real-time atmospheric monitoring systems.</li><div><br></div><li><b>Cloud Seeding Operations Support:</b> Analyze atmospheric conditions to identify prime cloud seeding opportunities and assess the potential for precipitation enhancement. Coordinate with field operations teams to provide real-time meteorological guidance during active seeding missions.</li><div><br></div><li><b>Reporting and Analysis:</b> Prepare monthly and seasonal reports documenting seeding operations and associated weather for clients. Conduct detailed analysis and verification of forecast accuracy and seeding effectiveness using statistical methods and observational data. Develop performance metrics and assessment protocols to continuously improve operational forecasting capabilities.</li><div><br></div><li><b>Research and Development:</b> Contribute to the development of improved forecasting methodologies and seeding strategies.
