We develop and incorporate radar validation, weather-resistant  UAS, numerical weather modeling, and sustainable cloud seeds into an  effective precipitation enhancement solution.</span></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size:16px;">As a member of Rainmaker’s Finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of accounting including interfacing with external service providers and local accountants. This is a key accounting role that will interface with all aspects of the company, including production, engineering, and business development. </span></div><br><br><h3>What You'll Do</h3><ul><li>Be responsible for  day-to-day operations and close processes for multiple subsidiaries,  including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, financial  statement variance analysis and monthly internal and external financial  reporting</li><li>Manage end to end processes, ensuring proper  transactional accounting as well as system solutioning to ensure  accurate financial reporting</li><li>Assist with ERP implementation and adoption</li><li>Ensure adherence to international accounting standards, local regulations, and tax laws</li><li>Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks in global operations</li><li>Coordinate with external auditors and local service providers to facilitate timely and accurate audits</li><li>Oversee multi-currency accounting processes, including foreign exchange transactions and intercompany reconciliations</li><li>Monitor transfer pricing for compliance with arm's length standard      </li></ul><h3>Basic Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field</li><li>CPA or equivalent certification is preferred</li><li>Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in international accounting or a related role</li><li>Netsuite experience (preferred) or other accounting ERPs experience</li><li>Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP), practices and procedures</li><li>MS Office/Google Workspace skills</li><li>Netsuite experience (preferred) or other accounting ERP experience</li></ul><h3>Additional Requirements</h3><ul><li>Willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed</li><li>This position is based in El Segundo, CA and requires being onsite full-time – hybrid and remote work will not be considered</li></ul><br>
