This role is to work as part of a team to develop software for next generation products as part of Hitachi Rail Ltd.’s vehicle and track Condition Monitoring System. The role is to develop embedded C software for Wireless Sensor Nodes as well as high level language software for Wireless Monitoring Control Unit gateway products.As an Embedded Software Engineer (Linux) is required to ensure the team can deliver its crucial commitments. Excellent coding skills will be required. The role will be based at the Hitachi Rail office in Eastleigh moving to a hybrid office/home working environment upon completion of probation. Office attendance is required for design and planning meetings and configuration of physical hardware.
