Your insights will directly influence vehicle platform architecture, compute module design, and fail-operational strategies.</span></div><br><br><h3>In this role, you will: </h3><ul><li>Lead analytics-driven architectural evaluations across compute, networking, and software, guiding system partitioning between edge, in-vehicle, and cloud.</li><li>Apply analytical tools to logs and real-time data from simulation and test environments to validate architectural changes for power efficiency and performance.</li><li>Identify and resolve inefficiencies and scalability risks, ensuring smooth progression from prototype to large-scale deployments (hundreds to thousands of vehicles).</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including service owners, safety, hardware, and infrastructure—to ensure reliability, fault tolerance, and efficient operation under real-world constraints.</li><li>Deliver clear, data-backed recommendations to stakeholders, enabling informed system design and long-term architectural planning. </li></ul><h3>Qualifications: </h3><ul><li>10+ years’ experience in systems architecture or system design, with a strong background in software, hardware, or embedded systems.</li><li>Proven expertise in profiling and analyzing CPU, GPU, memory, power, and bandwidth performance. </li><li>Skilled in data-driven architectural decision-making for compute, networking, and software components across edge, vehicle, and cloud systems.</li><li>Experience designing and validating fail-operational, fault-tolerant systems using real-world failure and performance data.</li><li>Ability to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, power optimizations, and scaling risks, and collaborate cross-functionally to optimize system reliability and efficiency.</li><li>Strong communicator, able to translate complex technical insights into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.</li></ul><h3>Bonus Qualifications: </h3><ul><li>Experience in Linux environments with hands-on experience using GPU profiling and monitoring tools, including DCGM, NVTX, and Nsight.</li><li>Experience with Databricks, Looker, and Grafana for gathering analytics and dashboarding.</li><li>Experience with systems or SW development for an autonomous vehicle company.</li></ul><br><div><b>About Zoox</b></div><div>Zoox is developing the first ground-up, fully autonomous vehicle fleet and the supporting ecosystem required to bring this technology to market.
