Your mission As Financial Systems Manager, you will own the vision, roadmap, and continuous evolution of our ERP (SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud) and related finance tools, such as Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and planning &amp; forecasting platforms. You’ll go beyond project coordination - designing scalable system architecture, embedding best-practice finance processes, and guiding teams toward a self-service, data-driven ecosystem that empowers decision-making at all levels. Set the course <ul><li>Co-develop with IT a multi-year systems roadmap, balancing short-term operational requirements with long-term scalability and flexibility.</li><li>Translate business objectives into clear system design principles for Finance &amp; Accounting tools.</li></ul>Build for longevity <ul><li>Act as the Finance Business Partner for greenfield implementations, major ERP upgrades, and cross-system integrations.</li><li>Define and enforce data governance standards, master data management policies, and system security protocols.</li><li>Ensure seamless integration between SAP, TMS, planning software, and reporting tools (e.g., SAC, Power BI).</li></ul>Orchestrate collaboration <ul><li>Act as the primary liaison between Finance (Controlling, Accounting, Treasury) and IT, ensuring business needs are understood and translated into technical solutions.</li><li>Facilitate end-to-end process reviews and align system workflows to achieve operational efficiency.</li></ul>Drive continuous improvement <ul><li>Conduct regular system audits to identify pain points, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities.</li><li>Evaluate and implement process automation, AI-driven tooling, and workflow optimizations.</li></ul>Elevate capability <ul><li>Deliver user training, create documentation, and champion system adoption across Finance teams.</li><li>Build a culture of continuous optimization through knowledge-sharing and change management initiatives.</li></ul> Your profile Core Experience <ul><li>3+ years working hands-on with ERP systems, ideally SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud in a Finance &amp; Controlling context.</li><li>Proven involvement in system implementations or major upgrades (ERP, TMS, or planning tools).</li><li>Understanding of finance/accounting workflows (e.g., P2P, O2C, R2R, cash management).</li></ul>Technical &amp; Process Skills <ul><li>Familiarity with integration concepts (APIs, middleware, data mapping) and reporting tools (SAC, Power BI).</li><li>Experience with process automation or AI-driven finance solutions.</li><li>Ability to translate business requirements into system configurations and functional specifications.</li></ul>Finance Knowledge <ul><li>Exposure to German GAAP and IFRS reporting standards.</li><li>Understanding of treasury, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity management is a plus.</li></ul>Soft Skills <ul><li>Excellent communication in English; German at C1 level for reading regulations is advantageous.</li><li>Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.</li><li>Structured problem solver with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.</li></ul>
