We develop and incorporate radar validation, weather-resistant UAS, numerical weather modeling, and sustainable cloud seeds into an effective precipitation enhancement solution.</span></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size:16px;">You will be one of the first members of the growing Supply Chain organization. The Supply Chain team owns everything from initial demand/supply planning to inventory management, and delivery to the manufacturing floor.</span></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size:16px;">The organization will need an organized and highly efficient way to procure and track all incoming items, from production sprints to enabling research and development. Furthermore, the procurement manager will source suppliers and manage relationships with key suppliers to support delivery of key milestones.</span></div><br><br><h3>What You'll Do</h3><ul><li>Work directly with project managers and engineers to develop efficient, cost-effective supply plans to satisfy mission objectives</li><li>Create comprehensive cost estimates to drive decision making</li><li>Develop strategic supplier relationships, negotiate contracts and pricing, act as primary point of contact for key suppliers</li><li>Develop and implement purchasing systems and processes to improve company efficiency</li><li>Build a team of procurement professionals to manage all outgoing payments across the business</li><li>Drive the development and consolidation of a manufacturing BOM, to ramp production internally and with our suppliers with high flexibility</li><li>Source critical items, working directly with the design engineering and operations departments</li><li>Manage feedback to and from Suppliers for timely and high quality product delivery</li><li>Monitor inventory counts of production and operational supplies to limit operational and manufacturing downtime </li></ul><h3>Required Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, business, or other related field (Master’s is a plus)</li><li>3+ years of experience in supply chain/procurement in a similar industry</li><li>1+ years of experience in leadership in a manufacturing or supply chain role</li><li>Experience sourcing production parts from the domestic supply chain in commodities like PCBAs, composites, machined components, sheet metal, etc.</li><li>Experience managing high-impact supplier relationships in the domestic supply chain</li><li>Ability to relocate, if not already local, to be onsite in El Segundo, CA</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Proficiency in Excel and experience with Netsuite ERP or Cofactr procurement software</li><li>Experience negotiating muti-year strategic supplier agreements</li><li>Acute attention to detail</li><li>Exposure to working in a small/growing team in a fast-paced, start-up environment</li><li>Effective time management and multitasking skills; addressing all tasks with a sense of urgency</li></ul><br><div>No recruiting agencies</div>
