In this critical role, you will manage a dynamic team, drive safety, operational performance, and team development, while ensuring seamless collaboration across cross-functional departments. You’ll be the face of the site—building strong relationships with stakeholders, leading a safety-first culture, and taking ownership of a fast-paced regional operation. What You Will Be Doing<ul><li>Safety First: Lead safety as a core value across the site, including the yard and operations. Champion COR compliance, load restraint standards, and MHE safety.</li><li>Operational Leadership: Achieve cost, KPI, and service metrics. Optimise service levels, productivity, and cost reductions.</li><li>Team Management: Lead a small, agile team with a focus on coaching, development, and performance. Foster a positive, learning-oriented culture.</li><li>Customer &amp; Stakeholder Engagement: Handle calls from sales and customers. Build strong relatonships with internal stakeholders and 3PL transport providers.</li><li>Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders including onsite manufacturing and sales to deliver best-possible operational and customer outcomes.</li><li>Continuous Improvement: Drive robust continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, inventory accuracy, and warehouse efficiency.</li><li>Compliance &amp; Reporting: Manage reporting, capital projects, and infrastructure upgrades. Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.  </li></ul>About You<ul><li>Minimum of 5 years working in a Supply Chain, Warehouse and Distribution environment, running distribution centre in a leadership role.</li><li>Proven ability to manage both inbound and outbound logistics, reporting, compliance and project management of improvement initiatives.</li><li>Experience with WMS systems (SAP/ERP highly regarded), inventory control, and load planning.</li><li>Knowledge of 5S lean management, Chain of Responsibility (COR) and load restraint regulations.</li><li>Strong leadership and people management skills and experienced coaching and mentoring others to develop and get the best out of the team.</li><li>Highly effective planning and organisation skills, with strong time management, and coordination skills, have a sense of urgency, results focused, with an analytical mindset.</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to make quick decisions and build stakeholder and customer relationships</li><li>Able to work autonomously as part of a team with a collaborative style, is positive, resilient, innovative and challenges the status quo.</li><li>Thrive in fast-paced environment, safety-focused, and bring a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset to everything you do.</li><li>Must have a driver’s licence and forklift licence to meet the requirements of the role.</li></ul> Why join us?
