What you will do<div><div><div><div>Under general direction plan, program, operate and maintain the automation equipment in the manufacturing area, maximize the performance standards set for production, quality and cost.How you will do it<ul><li>Program and maintain Nachi Palletizing Cells and Fanuc robots.</li><li>Ensure proper programming and set up of manufacturing automation systems is implemented for job changes for any automated equipment.</li><li>Maintain Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV’s), the auto labeler system, and automated quality testing equipment.</li><li>Trouble shoot and repair manufacturing automation systems.</li><li>Perform documented preventive maintenance and safety checks of manufacturing automation systems. Perform monthly safety audits following plant based criteria.</li><li>Setup and adjustments on Cognex and Keyence vision systems</li><li>Responsible for challenge and testing of all automated assemble Equipment.</li><li>Leadership skills and training of other technicians.</li></ul>What we look forRequired<ul><li>Minimum of 6 years of automation experience. </li><li>Experience with Allen &amp; Bradley and Siemens PLCs and Vision Systems.</li><li>A strong background in maintenance. </li></ul>Preferred<ul><li>Associate Degree.</li><li>Robotic training preferred. </li></ul>What we do hereOur Florence, Kentucky components plant began operations in 1978 and here is home to our components plant which manufactures PowerFrame® grids and our battery containers and covers.
