Primary PurposeUnder general supervision, function within specific guidelines to insure quality battery covers and components are manufactured, inspected, labeled, and packaged.Primary Duties<ul><li>Inspect sleeves of finished product on assigned pallets of product for product quality to include piece count, inversion, hot stamp, bushings, warpage, color, complete fill, damage, bushing polarity and other miscellaneous cover specifications.</li><li>Interpret and stack parts per the Bill of Materials</li><li>Inform product technician and/or shift manager on repeating quality problems for correction</li><li>Locate, transport, and place material at rework station as needed; i.e., strapping tape, labels, tier sheets, and slip sheets.</li><li>Maintain quality standards for all product including documenting reason for off-quality product on reject data sheet, discard off-quality product, and dink covers as needed.</li><li>Keep work areas clean and orderly following 5S procedures</li><li>Strictly adhere to all plant safety rules</li><li>Take active part in group meetings to maintain safety, quality, and increase productivity and morale</li><li>Perform all other tasks as assigned</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED required</li><li>At least 2 years previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred</li><li>May require valid forklift license, or the willingness and ability to operate a forklift</li><li>Strong team player</li><li>Must be able to multi-task in a busy hands-on environment</li><li>Excellent verbal communication skills</li></ul>Who we are: Clarios is the force behind the world’s most recognizable car battery brands, powering vehicles from leading automakers like Ford, General Motors, Toyota, Honda, and Nissan.
