You will collaborate with senior and frontline leaders to promote best practice and achieve best for project outcomes.</p><p></p><p><b>The Project</b><br>The project includes the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the plant with first production in 2028. Works include marine works and tunnels, seawater intake system, a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, groundwater system, drinking water storage and pump system, supported by civil, electrical and bulk earthworks.</p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Provide expert industrial relations advice, including Project Agreement interpretation, Fair Work legislation compliance, and payroll guidance.</li><li>Lead complex ER/IR case management, including disputes, investigations, performance matters, and proactive IR strategy development.</li><li>Act as primary liaison with union representatives, managing consultation, negotiation, dispute resolution, and right of entry processes.</li><li>Support collective bargaining and enterprise agreement negotiations, ensuring accurate union interaction records are maintained.</li><li>Coach and guide managers, HR Advisors, and procurement teams to ensure correct application of agreements and effective employee relations handling.</li><li>Build strong relationships with senior leaders and operational teams, representing the organisation in external forums and negotiations.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement by contributing to people initiatives, capturing IR data, enhancing policies, and improving processes across the project.</li></ul><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:left;"><b>Required Skills and Competencies</b></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><ul><li>Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law or related discipline</li><li>Experience in managing and providing advice on disciplinary matters, investigations and resolving disputes</li><li>Sound knowledge of employment legislation, including award and enterprise agreement interpretation</li><li>Proven ability in managing change processes</li><li>Advanced communication skills and an ability to build and leverage strong relationships to influence a broad range of stakeholders, including senior and frontline leaders</li><li>Ideally you will have experience in large infrastructure projects supporting head contractors as well as subcontractors</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What we offer </b></p><p>At ACCIONA, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where our employees can grow and develop their careers.
