Serving industries such as factories, electric vehicle charging stations, data centers, and critical infrastructure, Critical Loop ensures reliable energy solutions wherever they are needed.Role Description:We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician with expertise in power systems, especially battery storage, to support the development, deployment, and maintenance of our mobile energy storage fleet. This role will be critical to ensuring seamless operations, timely customer response, and strategic planning to meet project and business needs. This role combines deep knowledge of mechanical assembly and strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on quality, safety, and responsiveness. Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assemble fixtures, battery packs, and hardware using CAD drawings and technical documents</li><li>Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot battery systems, hardware, and power electronics</li><li>Coordinate repairs, upgrades, and testing to ensure optimal performance</li><li>Manage procurement and inventory for parts, tools, and materials</li><li>Serve as the main contact for troubleshooting escalations and provide status updates to stakeholders</li><li>Ensure compliance with regulations and enforce safety standards</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>5+ years as a hands-on technician in R&amp;D or development environments</li><li>Strong mechanical assembly skills and problem-solving ability</li><li>Proficient with standard hand tools in a fabrication environment</li><li>Experience with machine shop principals (accurate measurements, proper tool selection/ usage and safe work practice)</li><li>Knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems and related test equipment</li><li>Basic soldering and wire harness assembly skills</li><li>Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings</li><li>Proficiency with basic computer applications (Google Workspace, Excel, Word) </li></ul>Physical Requirements:<ul><li>Ability to lift and move objects up to 50lbs</li><li>Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and kneel for extended periods during assembly, maintenance, and repairs</li></ul>Preferred Requirements:<ul><li>Woodworking skills</li><li>Development/R&amp;D testing experience in aerospace or automotive sectors</li><li>1+ years of CAD experience</li></ul>
