In this role, you will lead a team of Material Handling Operators, ensuring daily tasks are completed accurately, safely, and on time. Your leadership will drive effective communication, motivation, training, and performance management within the team. You will also be responsible for monitoring key performance metrics and upholding all company policies and procedures.</p><p> </p><p><strong>You Will:</strong></p><ul><li>Ensure the safety of all employees, visitors, customers, and contractors within the facility.</li><li>Perform pre-shift and end-of-shift inspections, escalating discrepancies as needed.</li><li>Confirm that the team has required PPE and that it is properly worn.</li><li>Conduct and support Lucid Production System (LPS) audits for manual handling, driving standards, and SOP compliance.</li><li>Respond promptly to safety incidents; identify and communicate safety risks.</li><li>Create daily job rotation schedules to balance workload and maximize efficiency.</li><li>Lead daily team huddles to communicate priorities, updates, and performance goals.</li><li>Coordinate on-the-job and classroom training to build skillsets and maintain required certifications.</li><li>Ensure all training is conducted by certified trainers using approved methodologies.</li><li>Provide coaching and feedback to improve overall team performance.</li><li>Oversee the movement of raw materials and finished goods in coordination with Logistics Management to support production requirements.</li><li>Manage check-in/check-out processes to control inventory access.</li><li>Monitor goods movement within and between departments, ensuring accurate recording.</li><li>Optimize warehouse layout, dock usage, and truck loading patterns to reduce waste.</li><li>Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet daily operational needs.</li><li>Lead accurate inventory counts through cycle counts, ABC analysis, and physical inventory.</li><li>Conduct wall-to-wall inventories, mandatory cycle counts, and investigations into variances.</li><li>Monitor and update inventory housekeeping; manage returns and damaged product handling.</li><li>Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping for inbound/outbound shipments.</li><li>Control and resolve inventory discrepancies and validate adjustments.</li><li>Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.</li><li>Promote and enforce 6S standards throughout shifts.</li><li>Recognize and celebrate team and individual achievements.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>You Have:</strong></p><ul><li>Proven leadership experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.</li><li>Strong knowledge of safety procedures, warehouse operations, and inventory control.</li><li>Skilled in training, coaching, and performance management.</li><li>Proficient with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications.</li><li>Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.</li><li>Material handling equipment (MHE) certification preferred</li><li>First Aid/Fire Marshall qualification (desirable).</li><li>Able to be flexible with work schedule (to include evenings and weekends, as needed)</li><li>Basic SAP knowledge</li></ul><p> </p><p>Work Environment</p><p>This position works in a warehouse setting with exposure to forklifts, heavy equipment, and varying temperatures.
