Here is why you are going to love this role<br>                                You will be a System Engineer for the ISM (In-Space Manufacturing) activities, supporting the end-to-end system design, from technology development to flight missions and ISM solar array commercial products.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities:</strong><ul><li>Support the development of Dcubed´s world first in-space manufacturing (ISM) technology</li><li>Work with the PMs and a multidisciplinary technical team to design technical system architectures for tech demo missions and customer products</li><li>Plan system requirements to comply with customer and ECSS / NASA specifications, including component-level requirements</li><li>Create systems verification plans and design verification activities</li><li>Manage interfaces between subsystems</li><li>Maintain technical budgets for the system</li><li>Prepare technical documentation and participate in stakeholders' meetings</li></ul>                            Here is what you bring to the table<br>                                <ul><li>BS / MS degree in Engineering (aerospace, mechanical, electrical or a related subject)</li><li>5+ years of experience with space system development or satellite systems design</li><li>Knowledge of engineering standards used in space industry (eg ECSS, MIL)</li><li>Knowledge/experience of system engineering processes</li><li>Knowledge of space environment</li><li>Fluent in English</li><li>Eligible to work in Germany</li></ul><strong>Nice to Have Requirements:</strong><ul><li>Proven record of successful flight of satellite missions in a system engineering role</li><li>Understanding of structures, thermal control, and electrical systems</li><li>Comfortable coding in Python</li><li>Skilled with data visualization and sharing of information</li></ul>                            Interested?<br>                                If you are seeking an exciting new challenge in a growth-oriented role, apply today by sending your CV and if you like, your cover letter and examples of your work.
