In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing industrial control panels and systems in accordance with schematics, wiring diagrams, and applicable standards. Your work will play a critical role in bringing panel production back in-house while upholding our high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency.<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Assemble and wire control panels, switchgear, and subassemblies based on electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, and point-to-point wiring layouts.</li><li>Ensure compliance with NEC, UL, and company standards throughout the assembly process.</li><li>Follow standardized work instructions and operating procedures to maintain consistent quality and output.</li><li>Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized jigs/fixtures to complete panel builds.</li><li>Perform in-process and final functional tests to verify panel performance and adherence to specifications.</li><li>Accurately document work hours, production activities, and material usage in ERP systems (e.g., SAP).</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in alignment with 5S and workplace safety protocols.</li><li>Collaborate with team members and supervisors during daily stand-ups and continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Work under direct supervision with a focus on learning and applying best practices.</li></ul><h3>Required Qualifications</h3><ul><li>High school diploma or GED equivalent.</li><li>Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in electrical panel assembly or related field.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic diagrams, and wiring documentation.</li><li>Skilled in the use of hand and power tools relevant to electrical assembly.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity.</li><li>Basic understanding of electrical safety practices; familiarity with NEC and UL standards is preferred.</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems.</li><li>Exposure to lean manufacturing, 5S, or other continuous improvement methodologies.</li><li>Technical or vocational training in electrical assembly, electronics, or a related discipline.</li></ul><h3>Compensation</h3>The estimated salary range for this position is $21 to $23. Starting pay is based on several factors, including relevant experience, skills, and work location.
