As a Power Electronic Test Engineer, you will be the technical owner for all high-voltage component and system-level testing, driving continuous improvement for both characterization and production. You will lead the design of test circuits, analyze data, and manage the development and maintenance of test programs and hardware. This role requires a hands-on approach and a problem-solving mindset, as well as excellent communication skills to collaborate with multiple teams and customers.</span></div><div><br></div><div>This position will work out of our San Jose location. </div><br><br><h3>  Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Design and develop test circuits and software for bench characterization and automated test equipment (ATE).</li><li>Create and execute designed experiments (DOE), analyze data, and generate comprehensive reports.</li><li>Troubleshoot and solve engineering and production issues related to the device, test software, and hardware.</li><li>Perform yield and failure analysis for both engineering (DOE) and production.</li><li>Document test programs, test releases, and processes.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>BSEE/MSEE degree with at least 3 years of experience in test development with a strong knowledge of power electronics, analog, and mixed-signal circuits is essential, including expertise in testing power MOSFETs, SiC, and GaN devices.</li><li>High proficiency with bench automation software like NI TestStand, LabVIEW, Python, or C. </li><li>Experience with high-voltage test systems such as Eagles, Chroma, IPTest, or FTI is required.</li><li>A comprehensive understanding of power device datasheet or module, along with experience with Altium schematic and PCB layouts, or similar EDA software is a must. </li><li>Familiarity with Keysight 1506 or Keithley Parametric Testers, along with experience with automotive-certified devices (VDA, IATF), is a plus.</li></ul><br><div>Diamond Foundry believes in supporting our employees from the workplace to their personal and home life.
