You will own sourcing strategy, supplier negotiations, and delivery execution for key components that drive both early-stage ramp and sustained manufacturing success. Responsibilities Will Include: <ul><li>Identify, qualify, and develop strategic suppliers for electronics, interconnects, and PCBA components</li><li>Lead RFQ/RFP efforts, negotiate commercial terms, and establish MSAs, SOWs, and pricing agreements</li><li>Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure supplier readiness for NPI and mass production</li><li>Monitor supplier performance and manage escalations in quality, cost, or delivery</li><li>Work cross-functionally to ensure part readiness, VMI/buffer inventory, and cost optimization over lifecycle</li><li>Analyze BOM cost structure and propose sourcing strategies to reduce landed cost and mitigate risk</li><li>Support make-vs-buy, dual sourcing, and localization efforts across global supply chains</li><li>Contribute to CM sourcing decisions, lead-time analysis, and manufacturing footprint strategies</li></ul>Desired Qualifications: <ul><li>B.S. in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent technical background; MBA is a plus</li><li>4–6 years of sourcing or GSM experience, ideally in EV, energy, or high-voltage electronics industries</li><li>Strong understanding of PCBA cost drivers, contract manufacturing dynamics, and commodity strategy</li><li>Experience negotiating commercial and technical terms with suppliers and CMs</li><li>Highly collaborative, data-driven, and proactive; capable of thriving in fast-paced startup environments</li><li>Willingness to travel internationally to supplier and CM sites as needed (10–25%)</li><li>Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards</li><li>Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards </li></ul>Physical Requirements:  <ul><li>Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards</li><li>Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards </li></ul>Working Conditions:  <ul><li>Environment, such as office or outdoors</li><li>Ability to work in challenging working conditions which may include exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and temperature extremes, while protected by PPE, for extended periods of time</li><li>Essential physical requirements, such as climbing, standing, stooping, or typing</li><li>Occasional work weekends, nights, or be on-call as a regular part of the job</li><li>Occasional travel requirements</li></ul><div><div><div>In accordance with California pay transparency laws, the salary range for this position is listed below.
