We have the patience, creativity, and capital to take a long-term view of the evolution of US energy markets.  We are investing in the large-scale projects needed to advance the energy transition.   </div><div> </div><div><strong>About the Role </strong></div><div>The Senior Manager, GIS will lead Nova’s Geographic Information Systems (GIS) function.  You’ll own the management of GIS data, mapping, and analysis workflows across the organization, while providing technical leadership and system administration.  </div><ul><li>Lead GIS deliverables for mid- to late-stage renewable energy projects, including construction-phase mapping, site updates, and final deliverables. </li><li>Maintain and update project web maps, integrating new consulting data, survey results, and development changes. </li><li>Prepare and maintain data rooms for external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and completeness in collaboration with internal project leads. </li><li>Post-process ALTA Survey, CAD files, buildable area datasets, and standardized consultant data layers. </li><li>Participate in weekly team meetings to provide technical support on projects </li><li>Process, standardize, and integrate incoming consultant data into GIS maps and enterprise systems. </li><li>Provide timely ad hoc GIS support and mapping deliverables to project teams. </li><li>Write, run, and maintain Python scripts to support data backup processes, data quality control, and workflow automation. </li><li>Implement and run quality control scripts to ensure IRTH and ArcGIS parcel data are accurately synchronized. </li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with development, engineering, and project delivery teams to ensure GIS outputs meet project needs. </li><li>Mentor GIS staff and promote consistent GIS practices across projects and entities. </li></ul><div> </div><div><strong>About You </strong></div><div>The ideal candidate combines deep GIS expertise with strong project management skills, a proactive approach to data quality, and experience delivering mapping solutions in a fast-paced renewable energy environment. You can envision a GIS ecosystem from desktop to field app and are excited to design solutions, train team members, and maintain the platform.  <br> </div><ul><li>7+ years of progressive experience working with GIS systems and providing presentation-ready maps that effectively communicate project details to internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders. </li><li>Experience supporting GIS systems for renewable energy or other power projects from development through completion </li><li>Advanced proficiency with ArcGIS Enterprise (administration, publishing, and web map creation) </li><li>Experience with spatial data file creation, editing, and attribute definitions </li><li>Proven ability to integrate survey data (e.g., ALTA surveys) and consultant deliverables into standardized GIS layers. </li><li>Strong understanding of data quality control, spatial analysis, and automation tools (e.g., Power Automate). </li><li>Ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. </li><li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in clear, actionable formats. </li><li>Prior experience supervising or mentoring staff is desired </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Information Systems, or related field desired </li><li>Willing to travel up to 10% </li></ul><div> </div><div>The salary range for this role is $125,000-$150,000 with a 10% target bonus.  This range is an estimate, and the offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, certifications, and education. </div><div> </div><div><strong><em>A diverse and inclusive team is critical to innovation.
