Join our outstanding team and help shape the future of energy. Position Specific DescriptionWe are seeking a Financial Analyst II to join our Power Delivery Team at Florida Power &amp; Light Company (FP&amp;L) to develop and maintain key metrics as it relates to productivity and financial analysis and to communicate recommendations and influence decisions for the Business Unit.  Power Delivery is responsible for the safe, reliable delivery of power for FP&amp;L.  Within Power Delivery, Business Services is responsible for financial forecasting, analysis and compliance for Power Delivery’s ~$4 B annual budget. Business Services works across the different departments within Power Delivery to ensure that the business unit meets or exceeds its financial commitments and provides advisory services to the organization.Candidates applying for this position should possess the following: <ul><li>Strong analytical and collaboration skills – including but not limited to expertise in Excel, PowerPivot, PowerBI, SQL and SharePoint, SAP or other financial systems;</li><li>Analytical Problem Solving and Innovative thinking;</li><li>Financial and data analytics experience;</li><li>Strong communication skills – interpersonal as well as the ability to create and deliver presentations;Ability to work on matrixed team in a fast paced environment;</li><li>Ability to operate under pressure and multi-task, must demonstrate strong bias for action, follow-through and personal leadership;</li><li>Self-motivated and self-starting individual;</li><li>Competencies: Focus on Customer, Problem Solving, Decision Making, Adaptability, Managing and Improving Processes, Strategic Thinking, Integrity and Work Ethic, Solution oriented.</li></ul>Candidates with a Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt Certified and Project Management Professional (PMP) are highly preferred.
