Summary

We are seeking for a Senior Test Engineer (Integrations Engineer, Electrical Engineering).  The candidate will be responsible for high voltage power converter and low voltage function testing. The testing including high voltage power converter validation, EOL test and DV testing, also need to support power electronics engineer for PCBA function test.

 

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Design and develop automated test program for EOL test of High Voltage power converter & Low Voltage automotive modules by NI LabVIEW.
  • Support power electronics engineer to test the prototype of high voltage power converters
  • Create Production test specification and test report for High Voltage power converter.
  • Support PE team’s mechanical engineer and electrical engineer to complete the prototype  assembly
  • Create test programs to communicate with test equipment such as power supply, signal generators, DAQ, analyzer, etc. and ECU using CAN, LIN, Ethernet & USB.
  • Control and modify NI LabVIEW code
  • Support bring up, validation, and development of new hardware and systems.

 Required Education and Experience 

  • BS degree in electrical engineering / mechanical engineering or 5+ years related experience in automotive industry
  • Experience with NI LabView, NI Test-Stand, C and Python (Plus).
  • Experienced with working in electronic-lab environments and equipment.
  • Hands-on experience with LabVIEW program and debug.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge in traction inverter develop
  • Knowledge in environmental, reliability, and safety requirements for Automotive application
  • Creative thinking, and high level analytical ability
  • Large volume product development experience
