Seres is seeking for a skilled Vehicle Integration Technician who will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting, and repairing prototype vehicle fleet. Must be highly motivated and flexible to adapt to the small-team environment.

Responsibilities  

  • Inspects, maintains, and repairs prototype vehicle fleet and equipment as assigned.
  • Retrofit/modify prototype vehicle to accept new hardware designs from Engineering teams.
  • Diagnose and repair failures found with prototypes.
  • Designs and fabricates parts. Rebuilds components.
  • Works with other teams on any mechanic related issues as appropriate.
  • Offers training and assistance to co-workers as necessary.
  • Keeps manager informed of all maintenance problems or areas of concern.
  • Assists in maintaining inventory of supplies, parts and materials.
  • Maintains assigned equipment in a safe and proper working condition; maintains a clean and safe work area.
  • Machine shop and welding experience a plus.
  • Supports Dyno setup and testing.
  • Welding & machining.

Requirements

  • Requires a vocational diploma in mechanical/industrial maintenance supplemented by three to five years of experience in mechanical maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Ability to operate and maintain shop tools and equipment.
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule.
  • Work independently and/or collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Show attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities/schedules.
  • Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
  • Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
