AMP Robotics is hiring an Accounting Clerk reporting to the Accounting Manager, to assist with day to day financial operations. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for data entry and other projects in the areas of payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable. Additionally, this role will be responsible for other projects as assigned by management.

As our Accounting Clerk, you will work to:

  • Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related information.
  • Completes accounts payable transactions such as entering invoices, verifying transaction information, and classifying transactions.
  • Reviews and enters additional transactions including credit card and payroll transactions.
  • Completes accounts receivable transactions including preparing and emailing invoices; identifying delinquent accounts and insufficient payments.
  • Collects revenue by reminding delinquent accounts; notifying customers of insufficient payments.
  • Interacts with customers and vendors to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
  • Verifies accounts by reconciling statements and transactions.
  • Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation.
  • Assists with preparation of sales and use tax returns and maintains use tax records.
  • Assists with maintenance of records for other areas including but not limited to inventory, fixed assets, and prepaids.
  • Maintains financial security by following internal accounting controls.
  • Provides back-up and assistance to office staff as needed.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or or equivalent work experience.

Experience: 

  • 2 + years of experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar job function.

Salary & compensation information: $45,000 - $65,000 

Benefits information:

Full-Time / Salaried Employees

  • Medical: The company covers up to 85% of the premium of UHC Gold Choice Plus POS 1250 BP9K. Employees pay the difference in premium if they select a more expensive plan. Up to 25% for dependents. 
  • Group Life, AD&D – 100% paid.
  • Long Term Disability – 100% paid.
  • Dental Insurance – 75% paid.
  • Vision Insurance* - 75% paid. 
  • Employee Assistance Program - Provided through United Healthcare. 
  • Paid Vacation Leave – Accrues at a rate of ~4.31 hours (0.54 days) per pay period (2 weeks) starting day 1. Unused PTO carries over each year with a 1-year limit.
  • Paid Sick Leave – 64 hours per year, given in full on start date, refreshes on anniversary.
  • 401(k) retirement plan - (non-matching). 
  • Seven (7) paid holidays – 7 company designated and 2 floating holidays.
  • Referral bonuses for staff positions.

Part-Time / Hourly Employees
